Quick Specs
Operating Weight
4.355 / 4.520 Tonne
Transmission
Hydrostatic transmission
Engine
47.9HP
Performance
The Kubota 47.9HP Tier 4 final engine offers true reliability, featuring low fuel consumption, low vibration and low noise.
The high dumping clearance (2150mm), long dumping reach (805mm) and standard self-leveling bucket function make all types of dumping jobs easier, such as dumping into truck beds. The R540’s low clearance of 2460mm (Canopy) /2480mm (Cab) also allows you to work seamlessly under low-hanging eaves and difficult areas, with easy travel under low bridges.
The R540 comes standard with .4m3 capacity GP bucket and a solid breakout force of 2661kgf
Increased wheelbase from 1950mm (R065) to 2000mm (R540) and 2% more rated operating capacity from 1315 to 1345kg with a bucket.
Reinforced main frame where the loader arms mount. Better operator visibility thanks to the loader arms which taper in towards the cab.
Versatility
Easy access to all major loader functions and smoother operation of the multi-function joystick which is now pilot control operated with integrated auxiliary valve switch.
The transmission is load sensing enabling automatic shifting from high speed/low torque to low speed/high torque, so as your load conditions change so do the R540’s torque and speed. A simple button touch will reduce maximum travel speeds whilst maintaining full aux. hydraulic power.
Easily handle challenging terrains like mud, sand and snow with 4WD and limited slip differential.
Maintenance
The bonnet opens at the rear of the loader for easy access to the engine and components that require regular maintenance and servicing.
The heavy-duty components of the R540 ensure a long life of operation.
The new modern digital display with digital meter is easy to read, allowing you to stay fully informed of loader and engine conditions.
Overfilling can be prevented thanks to the fuel level indication buzzer.
Comfort
With a new modern digital display same as the R065, the bright display makes it easier to read. Machine functions and diagnostic indicators monitor the machine.
The R540 offers superior operator comfort, with ample room for legs, increased foot space thanks to hanging style foot pedals and a wide entry point.
The suspension seat is fully adjustable, boosting operator comfort.
